Food as a Right is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes food as a human right and collects food and funds to help food insecure populations. We believe that physical and economic access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food is a human right.

Our Team

President

William Liu

William is a senior at Wellesley High School. With an insatiable curiosity and a drive to positively impact the world, William has developed a profound passion for tackling global challenges. From his involvement in Model United Nations to his work as a student journalist, he thrives on exploring innovative solutions and fostering meaningful change. As he begins his first year at Northwestern University, William hopes to be able to make a positive impact on the world.

Co-founder

Armaan Chaudrey

Armaan is an achieving senior at Wayland High School. Whether it be through publishing titles or leading his grade as residing class president, Armaan has immense experience with fundraising and leading community-oriented initiatives. He believes that health is a great equalizer, and plans to major in Global Health to further dive into the socioeconomic and political factors that lead worldwide health disparities. His efforts throughout high school and through this non-profit serve as a stepping stone in his journey to make an impact.
